About The Pavilion

Opening Times

The Pavilion is open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday plus weekends and evenings during activities. Our Gallery is open to the public from 10am to 4pm weekdays and entry is FREE. Please see individual listings for opening times and prices.

Visit our Box Office at the Pavilion open 9.00am – 5.00pm daily plus at least 1 hour before every performance.

Payment

Payment can be made in cash, cheque or credit/debit card. Cheques should be made payable to Denbighshire County Council. For credit/debit cards please supply full details including card number, expiry date, issue number (switch cards only), plus a daytime contact number and full address.

Access

The Pavilion is committed to providing easy access for all with adapted toilet facilities, Mother and Baby changing units and lift access to the first floor. Guide dogs are welcome. All our publications can be provided in large print on request. Please help us to help you by advising our box office staff of any requirements when making a booking.

Finding the Pavilion

The Royal International Pavilion is situated approximately 500m from Llangollen town centre, with ample on-site parking. Nearest train stations are Chirk and Ruabon.

From Shrewsbury...
Follow A5 to Llangollen. At traffic lights (adjacent to Smithfield Hotel) turn RIGHT into Llangollen town centre. At the T Junction at the end of the Llangollen Bridge turn LEFT onto A542 (towards Horseshoe Pass). Pavilion entrance will be seen on the right approximately 0.5km. Enter ground through Wooden Gates, parking area to the left adjacent to Pavilion building.

From Wrexham/Chester...
Follow A483, leave bypass at Ruabon heading along A539 towards LLANGOLLEN. On reaching Llangollen continue towards Horseshoe Pass (do not turn over bridge into Llangollen). Pavilion entrance will be seen on the right approx 0.5km. Enter ground through Wooden Gates, parking area to the left adjacent to Pavilion building.

From Corwen...
Follow A5 to Llangollen. At traffic lights (adjacent to Smithfield Hotel) turn LEFT into Llangollen town centre. From Ruthin (over Horseshoe Pass)...
From Horseshoe Pass continue on A542 towards Llangollen. Shortly after road passes over the canal, Pavilion entrance will be seen on LEFT. Enter ground through Wooden Gates, parking area to the left adjacent to Pavilion building.
