Children’s Art Exhibition

Dream catchers, tee-pees and moccasins! This Native American inspired art exhibition will feature work by talented local schoolchildren. Part of our Native American Festival.

Group 75 - Recent Works
Monday 12 November - Friday 13 December, 10am - 3.30pm
A wide range of themes are captured in collages, paintings in oil and gouache, prints and drawings. Group 85 will also return in 2008 with an exhibition featuring works by visiting artists from Cape Town in South Africa.
Susan Briscoe - Kimono Dreams

Formal and informal Japanese 20th century women's kimono – furisode, tomesode, houmongi and uchikake. A visual feast of pattern and colour that will provide an inspirational start to the year.

Pate de Verre - a rare and delicate glassware technique used to create beautifully crystallised forms which are gilded with white gold and silver. These unusual bowls give the impression of crushed translucent ice and are perfect for the festive season.
